Dave Smith
It’s been 18 years since Dave Smith got his first taste of skate ministry while helping out at Skatechurch following his junior year of college. That summer radically changed the course of his life as well as his career goals. Starting with an internship in 2002, Dave has served in numerous capacities during his time at Skatechurch including events coordinator, board member, ministry director, and lead fundraiser. Since 2004, Dave had been juggling a full-time job in addition to his part-time service at Skatechurch in order to make ends meet. All of that changed in October of 2015 when he left his full-time employer of more than a decade to join Skatechurch on a full-time basis.
